In the first quarter of 2022, Sensor Tower data reveals interesting trends for the top 5 Gacha games on a unified platform in Central America. Here, we break down the performance of these popular titles: 8 Ball Pool™, Mario Kart Tour, Rise of Kingdoms, Asphalt 8: Airborne, and Sonic Forces PvP Racing Battle.

8 Ball Pool™ from Miniclip.com saw a steady decline in weekly downloads, starting from around 124K in late December to approximately 80K by the end of March. Its weekly revenue peaked at around $35.6K at the start of the quarter, later stabilizing around $22K-$27K. The number of weekly active users also showed a downward trend, from over 2M to about 1.6M.

Nintendo's Mario Kart Tour experienced a significant drop in downloads, declining from approximately 90K to around 40K by the end of March. Weekly revenue displayed a decreasing trend, starting at around $25.5K and ending at about $18.2K. Active users fluctuated but generally decreased, from about 540K to approximately 436K.

Lilith Games' Rise of Kingdoms showed a varied performance in weekly revenue, peaking at around $40.6K in early February before dropping to approximately $30.2K by the end of March. Active users also decreased, from over 338K in mid-January to about 102K by the end of the quarter.

Asphalt 8: Airborne by Gameloft had relatively stable download numbers, averaging around 50K to 40K per week. Revenue showed some fluctuations, peaking at around $8.2K at the beginning of the quarter and stabilizing between $2K-$3K towards the end. Active users remained fairly constant, averaging around 120K-160K throughout the quarter.

Finally, Sonic Forces PvP Racing Battle from SEGA saw weekly downloads ranging from 30K to nearly 58K by the end of March. Revenue showed a steady increase towards the end of the quarter, peaking at around $1.2K. The number of active users also showed an upward trend, starting at around 347K and ending at approximately 350K.
